Getting an alias with new cname

Hi. When adding the following cnames

Type
CNAME
Host
ckespa
Value.
copyspf.dm-5mk87p7m.sg3.convertkit.com.

Type
CNAME
Host
cka._domainkey
Value
copydkim.dm-5mk87p7m.sg3.convertkit.com. I get the following error:-
ckespa.stridesforsuccess.com is an alias of spf.dm-rm42zj8d.sg3.convertkit.com and has its traffic proxied through Cloudflare.

Any help will be appreciated.

That’s weird that ckespa says it’s an alias for spf.dm-rm… even though you pointed it to copyspf…

With CNAMEs such as these, please make sure they’re set to :grey: DNS Only. That usually clears up any errors.

I did just look up spf.dm-rm42zj8d.sg3.convertkit.com and it didn’t resolve. Still…un-proxy those CNAMEs and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. When un-proxying I get the following error- ckespa.stridesforsuccess.com is an alias of spf.dm-rm42zj8d.sg3.convertkit.com.

And that looks like you wanted in your post.

Interesting. It saves it now. It would not earlier. Maybe because cache was refreshed? Thanks
