Getting 502s and ssl certificate issues from cloudflare for the past week

Hi,

got the same random issue of SSL error on our API calls (from our front end), got a 495 response status.

It looks like it completely happen randomly.

Referencing another issue that looks like a part of the problem you have (and still not resolved) : SSL Error 495 with Cloudflare & Heroku

I opened an issue at Heroku, they did not find anything yet, a hint could be the “Not trusted” of ssl certificate, but because it randomly happens, I doubt this is the problem.

(myapp.tech does not exists, I cannot provide here our website).

Go this from Heroku support :

I have also reviewed our internal logs, and I’m not seeing any 495 errors. This leads me to believe that those request that are failing are not making it to the Heroku routing system to be passed to your app dynos. Heroku will log any request that make it to the router and app.

I’ve heard this issue is now fixed. Can you confirm that?

@Maelig @sylvain4

We didn’t go to production due to this issue so I only have a staging system with low traffic to observe. However, so far, we have not seen the issue this week.

@Laudian do you have any link to provide the info ?

We are not currently using much the environment were we encounter the problem, I’ll let you know as soon as I can if it’s resolved for us.

What info?

You heard, how did you heard ? :slight_smile:

On Discord.
