Get CNAME Cross-User Banned with Pinata Gateway and custom domain on CloudFlare

Hi,
I have just created a gateway on Pinata, and created a relative CNAME on my domain DNS to the gateway on Pinata( on Pinatayou can confiugure a custom domain, so I think that on Pinata side this would configure all the needed things)

It had worked fine for one day, and during that day I tested some type of transformation rules, but now I get continuosly Error 1014 CNAME Cross-User Banned even disabling all type of rules, so only with the CNAME… how is that possible?

Hi there,

You have the DNS record set to proxy, but the CNAME you’re pointing to is also on Cloudflare. This means that in order to have it pointed like that they’ll have to add your ipfs record as a custom hostname.

So the solution here is either to gray cloud your record (DNS only) or contact ***ata.cloud and request your hostname to be added to their SaaS hostnames.
