Frontend Only Setup

Hi,

I want to use Cloudflare for front end assets only. Images / JS/ CSS. No webpage caching
I was not expecting to need to give DNS access for Cloudflare to work.

What’s the best way of doing this ?
I’d like to use a subdomain such as assets.example.com but it doesn’t seem like Cloudflare supports this.
Is this true ?

Is the only option setting up a separate domain for the assets ?

It actually does. You simply need to set up both hosts as you would in your current DNS configuration and only proxy () one through Cloudflare and not () the other.
