The free SSL provided from Cloudflare is working for the domain www.mydomain.com_ but for the first level domain subdomain.mydomain.com it is not working (it is only one subdomain). I tried to navigate page rules in my account and I did the following three page rules
.mydomain.com/
mydomain.com/*
www.mydomain/*
settings are for the above three rule (SSL, Flexible)
Any help it is highly appreciated .

The question is why SSL is working for the domain and it is not for subdomain ? and how to resolve subdomain issue? I’ve red several discussions in the community here and I tried to resolve the issue but currently it is not resolved yet.
If SSL wasn’t working before you add the site to Cloudflare, then all bets are off. It started off broken, and Flexible mode isn’t the way to fix broken SSL.
