Free CloudFlare SSL certificate for www.example.com

You need to create a free Cloudflare certificate for www.example.com
I can create an SSL certificate in the dashboard only for example.com and *.example.com
We need to add support for www.example.com to this certificate.
How can I do that?

You don’t need it. www.example.com is covered by *.example.com.

See “wildcard certificates” here…

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I’ll be glad to assist you.

The Universal SSL certificate provided by Cloudflare covers your root domain (example.com) and any first-level subdomains (.example.com), which includes www.example.com. You do not need to create a separate certificate for www.example.com as it’s already covered by the wildcard (.example.com) in the Universal SSL certificate. If you’ve set up the SSL certificate for example.com and *.example.com, www.example.com should be secure under that same certificate. Just make sure that your DNS records are properly set up in the Cloudflare dashboard, with a CNAME or A record for www pointing to the correct server.

Kindly,
