Hi guys, recently I had pointed my domain to cloudfare (faceitupnow.com) I had setup the page rule which to add forwarding url 301 redirection to https://www.faceitupnow.com but it does not show the “www.” is there any solution for this?
For an HTTPS redirect you dont need a page rule, simply enabled “Always use HTTPS” under SSL.
I am fine with the https, but it lost the “www.”
What do you mean by “lost”?
You seem to have a different issue, which is a redirection loop. That could be either because of that page rule or because of an improper SSL setting.
Have you removed that rule and what is your SSL mode?
you may click my domain and u will see it redirect to “https://faceitupnow.com” but my page rule are set redirect to “https://www.faceitupnow.com” so i should be having www infront the domain
Please check out my last comment.
No I did not remove the page rule, and how can I check my SSL mode? I am that I had enabled Always use HTTPS
Remove that page rule. The SSL mode is shown at https://dash.cloudflare.com/redirect?zone=ssl-tls
I removed already, and I still not sure which is the SSL mode, because the link was redirect me to dashboard page
You obviously need to select your domain Then it will show you which SSL mode is chosen.
it shows “Full”
Your server IP address ends in 144, correct? In that case you should switch it to “Full strict” to properly secure the connection.
Additionally enable aforementioned setting and you should be all set.
No my ip address is not ends with 144
sorry, but what is this meant?
Thats not your server IP address, but your own, isnt it?
ya, if is server IP yes it is ends with 144
In that case, perform the two aforementioned actions
- Remove the rule and enable “Always use HTTPS”
- Set the SSL mode to “Full strict”
alright, let me try now
hmm…it seems not working and it still show without “www.”
