Flushing local DNS cache

Hi

I have been using Cloudflared for DoH on macOS since the release of 1.1.1.1 in April and been very pleased.

One question I have is about clearing my local DNS cache. Previously I was able to flush my local DNS cache using sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder.

I noticed that on receiving HUP that Cloudflared looks like it restarts, but that leaves me with two questions please:

  1. On receipt of HUP does Cloudflared clear it’s local cache?
  2. Maybe more relevant, does Cloudflared have it’s own local DNS cache?
