Flexible SSL with Auto-SSL ON cpanel

Hi,
I’ve enable flexible SSL mode for one of my domain.
But recently I’ve started using auto-ssl from cpanel control panel, (like self-signed certificate) on my entire domain and subdomain.

My question is: Will cloudflare connect my ORIGIN server from its EDGE with https:// even IF i’ve enable flexible ssl mode instead of full ssl? or does it connects with http ONLY??

Flexible is to avoided at all costs. Full (Strict) is the proper way to go.

Probably better than that. AutoSSL is for provisioning publicly recognized certificates.

My question

Flexible will connect to the origin with HTTP. That’s why it’s so problematic. You should switch to Full (Strict) with the AutoSSL certs provisioned.
