Firewall Rule hostname not working or not avaiable on free plan?

(http.host contains “google”)

For example i try to block google to access my site through firewall rule above but not success, google translate or pagespeed still can access my site

What is “google” supposed to be in this case? The hostname refers to the hostname of your site, so unless you are posting from Mountain View it is probably not applicable to you.

If you want to block Google you’d best off with using access rules and specifying Google’s AS number (AS15169).

No worries. The following access rule would block basically the entire Google network (or most of it at least).

Keep in mind, this will not only block crawlers but also people surfing to your site from Google’s network.
