I was wondering if there’s a way to find user’s external IP addresses from either a Cloudflare log or request data that Cloudlfare passes to our web server. Our server currently logs every IP that it talks to, however with a Cloudflare shield this is not much use as all the IP addresses come from Cloudflare. We are not in a situation where we need to send a user IP address to the police and I was wondering where I could find this.
There’s no way to get one from the past, even if you were to use Logflare or have an Enterprise Plan. (to clarify: if you didn’t have Logflare or Enterprise logging enabled at the time of the event)
