[Fedora Linux] unable to connect. Reason: Connectivity check failed due to DNS Lookup failed

I’m currently on Fedora SilverBlue, using warp latest version 2023.3.398.

I have set up all the firewall related rules using this guide
https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-devices/warp/deployment/firewall

But still when I register and connect warp, it keeps on trying and then failing to connect with the error, unable to connect. Reason: Connectivity check failed due to DNS Lookup failed.

Even though on mobile, my warp+ is working fine.

Here is a warp-diag dump:

PS: I didn’t bother to set my warp+ license, when it didn’t even connect.

I had the same issue on my system starting with WARP version 2023.3.258. Version 2023.1.133 was running fine but later versions were showing the same error you’re seeing.

This was solved for me after adding

ResolveUnicastSingleLabel=yes

to resolved.conf as described in Troubleshooting · Cloudflare Zero Trust docs
