Enter the TLD
.name
I’ve owned my .name DNS domain for 20+ years (created in 2004) and I’d like to transfer it to Cloudflare. Any idea if this TLD might be supported in the future?
Regards,
Vincent
Hi Vincent,
While you cannot transfer the registration of your .name domain to Cloudflare you can use cloudflare as you DNS nameservers.
This give you access to all the features in the Cloudflare plan you choose.
You domain will still have to stay registered with your current registrar.
Let us know if you need any help getting started.
You can find currently supported, recently added, and upcoming TLDs here: https://domains.cloudflare.com/tld-policies
Beyond this, there’s no ETA for when or even if any TLD will be supported.
I would hope that Cloudflare Registrar would want to support every TLD out there. But I also do appreciate the fact that working out individual business contracts and integrating disparate registry platforms is a daunting task. (That would explain why just a few ccTLDs are currently supported.)
