hi there, i can’t seem to update the favicon of my wordpress org website. it shows up as the default wordpress icon on google search result when i google “the wedding vow”, but in my wordpress i have already uploaded the favicon showing TWV logo, just not showing on google. cleared my computer cache, and wondering if it’s the cache that is an issue?
If you’ve replaced the logo on your website, then there’s nothing more to do on your end. The rest is up to Google!
When you change something on your site, it doesn’t immediately reflect on Google. It’ll take time for Google to re-visit your site, detect the change(s), and update its database to display the updated information.
All you can do, unfortunately, is wait.
I’m curious though how long it’s been since you made this change, and if you can share your domain name.
