Falsely charged for R2 usage

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I got charged $9.90 for R2 usage, according to the invoice I used “millions” of operations, however when I opened the R2 bucket, it said it has less than 500 class B operations and less than 100 class A operations.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have attempted to contact Cloudflare support however I have not received a response in weeks.

This means you have used an R2 Infrequent Access bucket which charges $9 for 0-1 million class A operations, $0.90 for 0-1 million class B operations and has no free allowance. Only R2 standard storage has the free tier.

I’m pretty sure at one point I did create an infrequent access bucket, however I deleted it with-in minutes of creating it as I was just testing it out, surely I shouldn’t have been charged that much especially when it was not used. If it was an infrequent access bucket then it would have been at 0 operations (both class A & B) as my only other R2 bucket was a standard one.

As mentioned, there’s no free tier for infrequent access so if you created the bucket, there would have been a few class A and B operations to view it in the dashboard. And the charge is for the first 0-1 million operations so 1 operation is billed the same as 1,000,000 operations.

That’s extremely annoying, they should really tell you that before you create it, because if I recall correctly I wasn’t told that I would be charged.
