Someone with name John Doe and temp-mail “cs.email” reported root URL (/) as phishing because “Tries to trick people by registering” and “release checksums are not matching”. Our website does not contain ANY form and all files have a valid PGP signatures. There no way to contact reporter.
Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
Yes
What is the current SSL/TLS setting?
Full (strict)
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
I realize I’m writing in the wrong place. If there is someone here, please clarify the email address where the Trust & Safety Team can be contacted. Or if you can, please let the team know about Abuse Report 1822918a3d632ae1
You already have established communication with the Trust & Safety Team using email and have received the Report ID. It’s best you continue to communicate with them alone using the same email although you may need to wait for their reply. There’s hardly anything that community be of help.
Thank you. I just haven’t gotten any response, not even an auto-response. Well, I hope this gets resolved quickly, as it’s obvious someone sent the report with the intent of defaming the reputation, right to the home page where there is no form or links to download files. So I’m not quite sure what the reason is.
If there is anyone here from Cloudflare’s official support, can you tell me if I should get a confirmation message when I send an email to [email protected] ? I just haven’t received anything. I sent it from my email, which is listed in my account.
But I sent the email directly (indicating their response and the original email subject - [1822918a3d632ae1]: Cloudflare received a phishing report regarding your site), not a “traditional” reply.
If the issue is not resolved within a week, I will have to move to another CDN, Fastly or Google CDN, which will certainly not block the main page of the site because of a report that was made through a temporary email and with a non-existent name, which says nonsense about “registration” and “hash mismatch”.
