Falling back to Universal SSL

When we were launching a site on Cloudflare, the service was taking a long while to issue the Universal SSL cert. This period between when the DNS is pointed to CF and when the Universal SSL cert is issued results in the website being inaccessible. As a stop-gap, I ordered a Dedicated SSL cert for the site, which went into effect immediately once verified. Since then, the Universal SSL cert has been issued, so both of them show up in the admin panel.

If I were to cancel the Dedicated SSL cert, would the site fall back to the Universal SSL cert without any downtime?

Yep. I’ve done this and did not notice any downtime. Uptimerobot would have alerted me of a broken HTTPS connection.
