What is the issue you’re encountering

I can’t create DNS record with CNAME for my root with simple www. to mutuist.com

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I am not a developer. I just started to register my domain with cloudflare and using cloudflare hosting pages and worker. I connected to my custom domain to pages and it was working before but when I try to create a sub-domain, now the site can’t be reach problem in both main and sub-domain. Please help with step by step on how to solve this

But if mutuist.com is a custom Pages domain then you’ll need to remove that www record and either…

• add www.mutuist.com as a second custom Pages domain (the DNS record will then be created automatically)

or

• redirect www to the apex domain as here…
  Redirect www.example.com to example.com using Single/Dynamic Redirects
