Fail over pool becomes active without any error on primary pool

I have two pools. One for the primary server and the other for an off site backup server. When the primary server is offline, internet problem, etc., the fail over to the second pool on the backup server has worked as expected and is logged in the load balance logs. Starting last month, a fail over to the second pool for a ten minute period was not logged. Today, another 8 minute fail over occurred, still with out any log activity. I assume Cloud flare was unable to ping the primary pool and failed over to the second pool. But why no logs?
