External CA's for mTLS for hosted domains

Hi, Cloudflare community,

Good day,

I have seen mTLS enablement for hosted domains/sub-domains verification with a Cloudflare certificate. (Navigate to SSL > Client Certificates)

Is there a way where we can do mTLS with external CA’s by appending the root/intermediate CA’s on the Cloudflare portal?

This is because, to make edits to the configuration on the Cloudflare, external CA’s are permitted with Zero Trust but not sure if also applies to hosted domains/sub-domains where Cloudflare requires mTLS to proceed further.
