Expired domain

An associate ignored renewal emails for his domain, and now it has expired (30 days ago). He is unable to log in to his cloudflare account because he does not know the password, and the email address he has associated with his cloudflare account is an email account belonging to the expired domain.

Is there a solution for him?

The situation as described is pretty much a double-whammy

He might want to start completely over with a new account and/or let someone else who is more responsible manage it.

He could also try to acquire the expired domain at another registrar and (again) start over.

Iā€™m not sure what other options are available; perhaps a better solution might be proposed by someone else.

Have you CONFIRMED yourself that the domain is actually a Cloudflare Registrar domain, and not merely using Cloudflare nameservers and services?
