ex-ICT provider registered my domain but claims he doesn't have the login creds

So this domain’s DNS records is setup with Microsoft 365 but the CNAME’s status is reading “error”. I created a new account that allowed me to add the domain however i’m unable to recreate the DNS records because the system sees the host domain already exists in someother account. I don’t wanna lose my mail nor change to a new domain. Can anyone provide advise.

Not sure what this means. If this is an error in Microsoft’s console you will want to take it up with them.

You will need to clarify with Microsoft who is providing the service as to what is possible / what steps are required as they are the provider of the service in question.
