Every proxied traffic is being dropped by Cloudflare DDOS Protection

What is the name of the domain?

marylieh.social

What is the error number?

l7ddos

What is the error message?

Sorry, you have been blocked

What is the issue you’re encountering

Whenever I try to access a proxied DNS Record the traffic is being dropped by HTTP DDOS.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

My overall ddos protection settings are set to “essentially off”.
I also tried to deploy a custom WAF Rule to skip a specific source IP. That didn’t help. The hit counter is not even increasing.
Additionally this whole setup has been working for a few years.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Full (strict)

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I really don’t know. It appeared out of nowhere.

Sounds like this: Blocking xray and v2ray traffic - #2 by WalshyMVP
V2Ray/VPN/Proxy traffic is now prohibited, you can read the above message for more info.

Thanks for your contribution but I’m pretty sure that this is not the issue here.
I do no run any Proxy/VPN service behind Cloudflare. Maybe I was not specifically enough.
With “proxied DNS Records” I mean the Cloudflare Proxy functionality. Like the switch in the Dashboard…

Apologies, your site triggered some heuristics we associate with abuse. We have removed the block that was put in place and are reviewing how it happened.
