Error "redirected you too many times" right after the domain was moved to CloudFlare

Right after the domain was moved to Cloudflare, now the website is not coming up.

Getting error:
…redirected you too many times.
Try clearing your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Please help…

Before moving to Cloudflare, was your Website working over HTTPS connection?

If so, did you had an valid SSL certificate installed at your origin host / server which covers both your naked (root) domain any any other needed sub-domain like www, mail, etc.?

May I ask what SSL option have you got selected under the SSL/TLS tab at Cloudflare dashboard for your domain ( Flexible, Full, Full Strict … )?

What troubleshooting steps have you tried already from the article below?

I just switched registrar. I did not have any SSKL certificates with the registrar… the site was working.

Under SSL (in CF), the selection was Flexible. I did changing it to None and also switched on “SS L/TSL recommender” just to see if it would at least get the site online… but not sure if I would have to wait for propagation…

Actually since I did not see any change within 5 minutes, I did switch from OFF to Full and now the site is coming up.

I guess that is the setting that need to be on…
