Error Message for Different MX Records

What is the name of the domain?

suncoastthrive.com

What is the error message?

An identical record already exists

What is the issue you’re encountering

I have to add two MX records to my domain. I was given two records to add; in the section for “Record Attributes” I am to add “mxa.mailgun” and “mxb.mailgun”. When I add the second record, I get the error message.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

None; I have no idea what to do.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

All I know is to try adding the two mx records and see if the get the same error message.

You need to enter mxa.mailgun.com, not mail.suncoastthrive.com, in the “mail server” box, Then do the same for mxb.mailgun.com.

Just a quick note, as I see:

mail.suncoastthrive.com. 300 IN MX 10 mxa.mailgun.com. 
mail.suncoastthrive.com. 300 IN MX 10 mxb.mailgun.com.

The Mailgun mail server domains should be .org, not com. (I’m a customer of theirs so I’ve seen these domains a million times before.)
