Error code when logging in through Apple ID

Jun 24 - Heya, Im having an issue when I try to login to Cloudflare…

When I go to login to my account on Cloudflare using my Apple ID it shows a page that writes “Something didn’t work when we tried that. Please try again” with an error “API Request Failed: POST /api/v4/login (500)”

What is the domain name?
loganshmogan .com

Have you searched for an answer?
Yes, I looked at the TroubleShooting Cloudflare 5xx Errors and it said I needed to contact my hosting provider but I’m unsure how to get in contact with Cloudflare?

When you tested your domain, what were the results?
I couldn’t sign in completely to anything

Describe the issue you are having:
When I sign in using Apple ID just in general to Cloudflare I get an error saying I need to try again

What error message or number are you receiving?
500

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Searched error code online
  2. Searched through Cloudflare troubleshooting
  3. Writing this topic

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
Yeah I could use it fine when I initially purchased the domain

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Head to Cloudflare
  2. Login using my Apple ID
  3. Error Code

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode?
No I have not

Thanks for any help!

Update
I tried to submit a ticket with Cloudflare on this account but because for “security reasons” I got a bot email that told me I need to login to the other account… But I literally can’t!!! Please help!

In order to get a password and API key after you have signed in with Apple ID on Cloudflare, do the following.

If you have chosen to share your email when creating Cloudflare account with Apple ID, you can use the workaround below to get password and obtain API key:

If you have chosen to hide your email when creating Cloudflare account with Apple ID, I am afraid that the reset password link won’t work, and you can use the workaround below:

  • Invite a new member into your account, let’s say a secondary email that you might use.
  • Register a new Cloudflare account with that email using a password.
  • Access the dashboard with that user to obtain an API key (thus using said password).

Please note that changing your Cloudflare account email address will unlink the Login with Apple ID from your Cloudflare account. The next attempt to log in (after email changed) with the same Apple ID will create a new Cloudflare account.
