Hello, I am having issues with my site and ended up bricking it and can’t access anything.
I have my website set up across everywhere and I’ve been trying to do things correctly but I think I messed with the DNS and/or SSL settings and tried to revert it to no success. Any help appreciated!
What I was attempting to do was link my Wordpress site to my Shopify account for the buy button feature. However what I ended up doing was linking my Shopify account to the Wordpress website, which wiped my entire site and gave me a “website coming soon” page from Shopify, rather than my Wordpress site.
What I didn’t realize is that I needed to install an add-on on my Wordpress site and link it to Shoppify BEFORE initiating the link on the Shoppify side. Now that I have already messed with things I can’t even access my Wordpress admin panel at all so I can’t even install the necessary addon or even access my original site.
I have a backup on dreamhost but I’m not sure if restoring it would fix anything since it appears to be a DNS/SSL issue on the Cloudflare side. I’m not sure how to best fix this, I tried removing Cloudflare from the website and it still was inaccessible. I added Cloudflare again and waited 24 hrs and still the same error message. I might be posting in the wrong forum but the error page I get says Cloudflare all over it and not Shopify or Wordpress….
A 521 error happens when Cloudflare is unable to make a TCP connection to your origin server. Please review the suggestions in this Community Tip for Quick Fix Ideas.
