If it has suddenly stopped working then the 526 error means it is likely the SSL certificate on your origin has just expired.my hosting tells me that cloudflear has expired the SSL certificate how do i create a new cloudflear SSL certificate. because if i use serve aruba, + DNS cloudflear the aruba certificates are canceled, and automatically cloudflear creates a certificate. Now i have deactivated cloudflear, now i have entered dns aruba, aurba certificate, and server aruba. Aruba tells me that i have to wait a few hours for propagation. In your opinion is it correct? because if i have been using cloudflear for years i have never had problems, today nothing works??

Renew the certificate on your server/host. If you have a web host, ask them if you are unsure.

They tell me that if I use DNS cloudflear the aruba certificate is deleted. Should Cloudflear give me an SSL certificate is it possible or are they taking the piss out of me?

Their certificate doesn’t seem to have been deleted, just expired after the year.

Now you have disabled Cloudflare they should see you are using their IP addresses again and issue a new one. Maybe that will be good for another year during which time you can use Cloudflare again.

Otherwise you can get an origin SSL certificate from Cloudflare if you can install that on your host. Note that it does require the use of the Cloudflare proxy as it is only trusted by Cloudflare and not browsers.

I currently have everything on Aruba with DNS and SSL servers on Aruba and it seems to work. I’ll wait until tomorrow and put DNS back on Cloudflear, I hope that in this period Cloudflear restores its SSL since it has expired. thanks for the support

The certificate has been updated and is valid for another year. Put a note in your calendar so that if you get 526 error on Cloudflare in a year’s time, you are reminded why. Note that SSL certificate validity will be shortening from 2026.
