#error1014 cname #cross-userbanned

Your CNAME is pointing to a domain in another Cloudflare account. That will not work. Try turning off the Cloudflare proxy :orange::grey: by setting the CNAME to DNS Only.

I turned off but this error comes.

When linking the subdomain https://web-stories.shinesfox.com/ they gave me this(img) CENAME to add in my DNS. So I added it.
Ok I’ll forward your message to Makestories.io Because they are hosting Webstories for Blogger.com users. I’m a blogger.com user so that’s why I’m using Makestories.io to make and publish Webstories on my website.

Hello community,

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that certain Blogger Websites are also utilizing the platform Makestories.io to publish Webstories. Furthermore, their websites are connected to Cloudflare, which means that their CNAME (Canonical Name) records are pointing to a domain in another Cloudflare account. Interestingly, the subdomains of their webstories are functioning smoothly without encountering any 1014 Errors or Cross-User Bans. example site: webstories.techyleaf.in

It seems that they have followed the same procedures that I have undertaken to link our subdomains and add CNAME records to our DNS configuration. However, I am perplexed as to why my link, web-stories.shinesfox.com, is not operational, while theirs is working flawlessly.

I kindly request that you grant me permission to use Makestories.io's CNAME in my Cloudflare Account. I sincerely hope that you will give due consideration to my request and fulfill it accordingly.

Thank you for your attention.
@epic.network @cscharff

Your request is not something that Cloudflare can grant even if they wanted to. You need to work with your Makestories account support to find out what they have not correctly configured on their side. As @cscharff demonstrated, the canonical name that you entered in your CNAME record does not exist.
