It is working, but want to share what happened to my knowledge in case others have issues. I spent an hour with GoDaddy chat and they manually updated the CDN (I guess they rolled out a new version that cannot be turned off and I was still on the older version that was causing the error?!) to get me a new IP address and as soon as I updated the IP address in Cloudflare DNS it started working again.
They instructed me to leave A record and CNAME www record NOT proxied, so DNS only, or this could happen again. Apparently their CDN is through Cloudflare so that was likely the cause of the issue.
Now that I switched it to the new A record and turned off proxy, it appears to be working… I sure hope GoDaddy doesn’t mess things up again but I don’t have much faith. Thanks for responding!
