When you tested your domain, what were the results?
The main domain works fine the subdomains are giving an error: ERR_SSL_Protocol_error

Describe the issue you are having:
we use a platform called simplero, and we have a lot of subdomain. I can’t understand why it’s not working when the dns are setup correctly for each subdomain.

What error message or number are you receiving?

ERR_SSL_Protocol_error

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
yes.

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. just when I enter any subdomain.

Yes, still having errors.

The site in your screenshot is a second-level subdomain. Cloudflare’s Universal SSL certificate covers only the domain and first level subdomains (example.com and *.example.com).

To support that second-level subdomain you will need to use an Advanced Certificiate…

Thank you for your reply. The thing is that it’s not a second-level subdomain. Looks like but it’s not, the same thing also happens here:

gaiaeducation.org is your domain - works with Universal SSL
cop.gaiaeducation.org is your subdomain - works with Universal SSL
www.gaiaeducation.org is also a subdomain - works with Universal SSL
www.cop.gaiaeducation.org is a second-level subdomain - does not work with Universal SSL and requires an Advanced Certificate.
