Err ssl version

Hello there CF community!

From yesterday I have a strange error.

I have a website that has a Lets Encrypt certificate which is valid.

If I do not proxy through cloudflare I can visit the SSL version of it correctly.

When I proxy it through CF, I get an ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error. If I unproxy it, it works correctly.

• The site has been proxied through CF for like 2 years now without any problem.
• On the Edge Certificates, the Universal certificate stays at “Pending Validation (TXT)”. I tried disabling/enabling Universal SSL with not any success.

For now I have unproxied the website from CF but I would like to know why this error keeps comming up.

I have other websites in the same server with same SSL options on both server and CF side and there is no error.

This would be the error you get when Cloudflare doesn’t have any valid SSL cert to serve/use, which makes sense because the Universal is pending.

What’s the domain?
