Enter youWhen entering @ my DNS setting saves with my domain name instead of the @ symbol question here

We are going with a new website and so I needed to change my DNS settings. Below are the settings I needed to change.

  • Change the A host record for @ to point to 34.238.178.141

  • add or modify a CNAME record for www that points to cmsv2.apptegy.net

  • Verify that there are no other records pointing to @ , since those would not resolve correctly anymore

  • If there is any forwarding currently setup, that needs to be removed as well

When I add the - Change the A host record for @ to point to 34.238.178.141 it saves as leola.k12.sd.us instead of the @ symbol

Can someone help me with this?

@ is shorthand for your domain name. You’re doing it correctly.
