Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) are being enabled again?

We noticed that starting Aug 16 Cloudflare started ECH enablement for some (free?) sites.
Is this just a test or we can expect full-scale rollout that was rolled back in 2023 (Early Hints and Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) are currently disabled globally)?

Cloudflare will the rollout of Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) by default for all Free plans very soon :crossed_fingers: The team is working on it :wink:

Hi @fritex and @filip.savin we are slowly looking to roll this out on default ON for Free plans like last time. This will be a slow-controlled process over the coming weeks to make sure we have caught our edge cases.
