Good morning, this morning I received unwanted access to my site from some countries. But to fix this problem I created a cloudflare account to block these countries. Proceeding through the various steps I changed the NS DNS on my Aruba server with those that point to Cloudflare. Once this was done, Cloudflare notified me that the DNS was correctly installed. At the moment my site is completely offline. But I see my DNS dashboard completely empty. Shouldn’t this be filled with the To and CNAME fields? Is it just a matter of time or do I have to insert them?
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I tried to manually enter the CNAME and A fields, and via the site https://dnschecker.org/ I tried to test the DNS. In fact when I entered the To field, the DNS was found but the site still didn’t work.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
Cloudflare can try to find them automatically when you first add the domain, but as that has now passed you need to enter them manually. Copy them from your previous DNS, or ask you mail and web hosts what records you need to set and add them to your Cloudflare DNS.
Hi SJR, thanks for your reply. now I have added the necessary DNS recommended by my host but the situation does not change. I did a DNS propagation check and I see that they are up and running but my site still doesn’t work. From the link you provided me I did some tests and it advised me to enter full (strict) SSL, but the result does not change. Do you know if there are any parameters to activate or steps to take to be able to view the site?
