What is the issue you’re encountering
Emails going to spam folder
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I read the guide on how to make SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and I made them but before making these records the emails would go to inbox but after making these records they are going to spam folder. Secondly there is an error in my domain provider’s dashboard which is Hostinger the error says “Your domain is not pointing to Hostinger. To manage DNS records, change your nameservers to Hostinger’s” and I cannot edit the DNS records anymore because of this error as mentioned in the error. Lastly when I try to add DNSSEC records in hostinger it wouldn’t accept Flags and Protocol generated by Cloudflare.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
You’ve activated Cloudflare’s Email Routing service which can only receive and forward incoming emails, and can’t be used to send emails at all.
If your hosting service from Hostinger comes with email, disable Cloudflare’s Email Routing service completely and remove all the related DNS records. Then add the appropriate DNS records (MX, DKIM, SPF, etc) for your Hostinger email service.
Keep the DMARC record to use Cloudflare for DMARC management, but you probably want to change the policy from none to reject.
That’s to be expected: just ignore it.
Your domain’s DNS records can only be managed in one place: at Cloudflare or Hostinger, but not both.
If you want to use Cloudflare, then you’re required to use Cloudflare’s nameservers and manage your DNS there. There’s no way around that (except for Business and Enterprise plans).
As long as you have the correct DNS records point back to Hostinger (and any other 3rd-party service you use), there should be no issues.
Hostinger’s documentation (linked below) doesn’t show a Flag field. Of course, the documentation could be out of date… but please take a closer look to ensure you’re matching the correct fields.
If the problem persists, please provide a screenshot of the error you’re seeing at Hostinger’s end so I can take a look. (Note that DNS records are public, so you’re not revealing any “secrets” by sharing this screenshot)
