I have been banging my head against this issue the whole day, and sorry if this is already evident to somebody, but apparently the logs that land in your storage through logpush are zipped twice.
I’m talking about this scenario:
If you just download these log.gz files as of today (2023-04-10) and gunzip them, you will still get an output which would seem like binary gibberish, unless you run gunzip on the output again, after which you will get the desired JSON output.
