Email undeliverable

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

When people attempt to send me emails they are undeliverable. I use Google for my email. My domain is hosted with blue host. The error message is attached. I know my DNS records are wrong, but I don’t know why. They are attached.

That’s simple though: just use whatever DNS records you were provided by the service in question, and not some random thing you pick off the internet. And if you’re replacing a service, be sure you’re also replacing the DNS records for the previous service… instead of adding on to it.

If I’m understanding this correctly, you’re using the paid Gmail product (aka Google Workspace), and not the email service that comes with your Bluehost hosting.

  1. Definitely delete the record marked red . This is the highest-priority mail receiver, but is not pointed at Google. This should fix your problem of not receiving emails in Google Workspace Gmail.
  2. The record marked yellow serves no purpose. I recommend deleting it as a general house-cleaning task
  3. The two sets of records marked green are both valid for Google Workspace. But if you had followed Google’s setup wizard or even their support article, you would have been given one or the other, but not both. Specifically, if you created your account anytime after April 2023, Google would have given you just the single record SMTP.GOOGLE.COM to use. Having both sets won’t cause any issues… but why the clutter?
