Email setup not working

Hi all, I’m trying to host a newsletter on Ghost and am new to this. I’ve ChatGPT’d until I can no longer, need help please.

I registered with cloudflare and am using Ghost for newsletters. I want to manage auto response emails etc so i got Zapier. I need a place to host an email address so I also got Zoho and set up that mailbox including adding a DNS entry at Cloudflare, after two days of mailing it it bounces back saying "DNS Error: DNS type ‘mx’ lookup of responded with code NOERROR DNS type ‘mx’ lookup of had no relevant answers. DNS type ‘aaaa’ lookup of responded with code NOERROR DNS type ‘aaaa’ lookup of had no relevant answers. DNS type ‘a’ lookup of responded with code NOERROR DNS type ‘a’ lookup of had no relevant answers. "

It seems I need to add another or fix my DNS entry? I’m not sure, thank you.

Those errors sound like email bounces that are claiming that the receiving domain name (the domain you attempted to send a message to), does not have any AAAA, A or MX records.

As such, there would be nowhere for for the message to go.

  1. Share the domain name in question.

  2. Share the full error messages, and/or a full screenshot of it.

For better readability, please surround error message(s) with “```”, like this:

```
Thank you – screenshots attached.
The stuff mentioned above, regarding the records is the actual issue.
The domain from that screenshot
According to your explanation above in the first post, it sounds like you are looking to get Zoho to act on behalf of your domain, regarding receiving inbound emails.
As such, you would need to get some MX records from them to add to your domain (added using either using you full domain, or @ as the “Name” for the record).
