Email service knocked out after setting up a CDN through Cloudflare

How to restore or make sure email can correctly get through? My host Network Solutions has terrible customer support and I dont think they can navigate helping me make sure the email is correctly set up on the DNS. Anyone have any help on what I need to check?

Cloudflare proxy will only serve HTTP and HTTPS - if you’re hosting your own mail, make sure the DNS record for your mail server is DNS Only/grey cloud.
