Email: sender domain does not exist, yet mail relayed just the same

Therefore mail should not be routed to the final recipient.

When the final recipient rejects the email, Cloudflare Email Routing also rejects the email to let the sender retry.
The final recipient was previously able to receive emails (since you validated it), what would you expect to happen if the final recipient starts rejecting emails?

Has nothing to do with final recipient accepting/rejecting email or validating final receiver.

Sender email’s domain ( does not exist/does not resolve, so should be rejected as spam by Cloudflare before routing to final recipient.
