So I have successfully set up an email for my website. But it is not secure, as it requires no verification to send as the address. My set up is Cloudflare forwards email to my Gmail, and in Gmail, I have the custom email as a “Send as” address, using a Send In Blue SMTP server. What would be the correct way to secure this setup?
It sounds like you have the Email Routing beta feature for inbound mail.
Nothing ever does. That’s how spammers got their start.
You’d need to set up, at a minimum, SPF records. DMARC and DKIM are also good. Those are all explained at mail admin sites such as dmarcian.com. Once you and Sendinblue figure out what records you need, you can add them to your DNS settings here.
