I am trying to setup an email routing. I’ve done every setup in cloudflare, but i am getting the following error when sending an email:
Email sent to [email protected] are not received on my gmail account. I get the following error message: Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address. <ofe@kr****o>: 550: Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. sonic307-53.consmr.mail.ir2.yahoo.com [87.248.110.30]:37003 is not permitted to relay through this server without authentication.
What do I need to do?
Are you trying to use Email Routing for outbound email? This is not possible. Cloudflare Email Routing only supports inbound email. If this is not what you are trying to do, could you please share some information about your setup. What address are you attempting to send from? What outbound email provider are you using?
I want to send an email from [email protected] to [email protected], in cloudflare I have setup so that any incoming emails from [email protected] are redirect to [email protected]
The error message you shared in your first post souds like you do not have your Yahoo mail account configured correctly in your email software. You will need to consult Yahoo documentation and your email software documentation to resolve your missing SMTP credentials.
You can send a test message from Yahoo webmail for now.
