HubSpot Notification Emails Are Delivered but Not Showing Up In GMail
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I’ve ensured that all of the IP Addresses are updated in the Google Workdspace, HubSpot Notifications Emails are on the Allowed List and I worked with Googe to ensure the DNS records in Cloudflare are accurate. Yet, nothing works?
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
DNS records
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Tried to log into HubSpot several times, the issues is reproduced each time. There is no error code, the email just doesn’t show up in my GMail account.

So, I have 2 HubSpot accounts and 2 Cloudflare hosting accounts. The other account works fine but the one for Spotlight Around Town is having issues with HubSpot Notifications. I am receiving all other emails even from my other HubSpot account. I tested that this morning.
As I understand this isn’t an isolated issue. Others have had the issue, but I added all of the IP addresses to my Allowed List in GMail and 2 of the No reply HubSpot emails. I wonder if the [email protected] is a mask. That means I need to add all of the emails to the Allowed list. HubSpot suggests a list of about 10 emails.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure it’s a Google issue and they have escalated.
I went through the Enable Email Routing in Cloudflare, which made me delete the google DNS records. I’m still able to send and receive mail from all accounts Except the notifications from HubSpot. So, when we log into hubspot, it sends a code for us to authenticate that we are who we say we are. I’m not receiving those and haven’t in days. It’s a significant part of my business and I need access to that account. It houses my website.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Sherry
One last thing, since enabling email routing, Cloudflare is saying that emails are failing and they aren’t the emails referenced in the log went through fine.
Thank you for your help. I’m still not receiving HubSpot notifications and I’ve done everything I can. Even connected with Google’s help and they have “escalated” the issue, last week. I NEED ACCESS to my Hubspot Account, this is dumb.
How is it that Cloudflare fits into this? If Hubspot can’t send email to a @spotlightaroundtown.com email address, then the issue is between Hubspot and Gmail. The DNS record resolves, so it’s not a Cloudflare issue.
Cloudflare is the host for my hubspot website. HubSpot is where my CRM and Website live, it’s directly connected to Cloudflare. I’m just wondering why I’m not receiving emails from [email protected] whether I have Cloudflare receving emails, which don’t go to my Gmail account, or the Gmail account set up through Google. I’m not receving them in either account. I have no access to HubSpot unless I can get the notfication emails with the code. This didn’t start happening until I switched my accounts back over to Goolge from Strikingly.
It’s just the weirdest thing. I’ve never encountered this before.
The current MX records are pointed to Google and email routing in Cloudflare is disabled. All of my DNS records are in Cloudflare and when I set up hosting via HubSpot it was in fact Cloudflare that configured the host account, so…
What is your concern at this point? It’s clear that Cloudflare is not involved in handling email for your domain. Have you reached out to Hubspot and Google about this issue?
My concern is that I Need access to my HubSpot account. Originally, the support people at Google were looking at the email configuration to ensure we were all connected, we are and that’s fine.
I enabled the routing in Cloudflare and deleted the Google routing information to test if I would receive emails in the log so I could see if they were being sent at all. Seems they aren’t so I put everything back the way it was.
Today I alerted Google that the issue is still in play and I also reached out to HubSpot Support. The unfortunate thing is that I have 2 HubSpot accounts and this one is not paid yet. They can’t help me through my paid account so I have to wait until I can pay for a starter account, apparently, before I can get any help from them.
We can close this conversation. Thanks for trying to help.
