I’ve used Cloudflare’s email forwarding successfully for several months with no issues. However, a few days ago, ALL inbound emails are rejected due to “upstream error.” My custom domain is routed through Cloudflare and I use gmail (individual consumer account, not gmail for domains) as the inbound/outbound send and receive. Outbound emails are sent via google’s SMTP server.
At the moment, I can’t provide any configuration details because I had to pull the ripcord on Cloudflare and use a temporary alternative (improvmx) so that my inbound emails don’t continue to go into an irretrievable black hole.
I can try again, setting up CF forwarding but before I do, I’d like to see if anyone here has any ideas.
