I want Emails to be forwarded from [email protected] to [email protected]. I bought the Domain Name from Namesilo and I am using Cloudflare’s nameservers. I added MX records of Gsuite on Namesilo for email forwarding however whenever I send a mail addressed [email protected], it never reaches. In fact it doesn’t throw any error as well.
I have no idea what am I doing wrong. Could anyone give a solution.
You need to configure the MX records on Cloudflare’s side, not Namesilo’s.
Whats the domain?
The domain name is www.sigmatenant.com
So how do I go about it?
sigmatenant isn’t using Cloudflare. But here’s an article for troubleshooting email on domains using Cloudflare:
Your domain is not properly configured. You have both, Namesilo’s and Cloudflare’s, nameservers. You can only use one of them, presumably Cloudflare’s. Remove the Namesilo nameservers and configure the proper MX records on Cloudflare.
I have configured the Gsuite records on Cloudflare and removed the one for Namesilo. Now how do I write a mail and to whom do I address it to ?
Eg. I want to forward all emails addressed to [email protected] to [email protected]
Your Cloudflare setup looks all right at this point and your MX records point to Google. Assuming that is correct you are done with your MX setup.
Everything else is not Cloudflare related and you need to contact your email provider.
