Emails to IPv6 only MX records might fail
Despite _spf.mx.cloudflare.net having IPv6 address bock, cloudflare email servers seems to only use IPv4 to send emails.
Is there any plans to add IPv6 support?
In April 2024, or, roughly one year ago, Cloudflare Email Routing was delivering just fine over IPv6.
When destinations, such as Google (Gmail), from your screenshot, has support for both protocols, you are not guaranteed that the email delivery will be happening over neither IPv6 nor IPv4.
It can randomly be the one, or randomly the other. Or it may even seem quite persistent, to be using one of them, even though there is actually support for both.
