Nameservers have nothing to do with mails. You need to clarify this with your mail provider.
One thing that you need to fix on Cloudflare is your MX entries. You have one for Amazon and one for your own mail server. You probably only want to have one and need to drop the other. If that is your own, make sure the respective entry is not proxied but .
If you don’t use Amazon for your mails, you should drop said entry as mentioned and make sure it only uses your mail entry, however you still need to unproxy that and discuss the authentication message with your mail provider. Cloudflare is not involved here.
As fate would have it, I was reading the forums at this very moment and came across your conversation. Hi this is getting beyond my technical ability who can help me with this. I don’t want jeopardize the security features I purchased with cloudflare. Is there a consultant on your team that can help me conclude this issue. There are 4 ore type A pointing to proxy but not sure if those also need to be changed as the name is “books”. "ftp and not the domain name
