What is the error message?

upstream (outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com.) temporary error: Unknown error: transient error (451): 4.7.650 The mail server [104.30.8.68] has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation.

What is the issue you’re encountering

I’m experiencing an issue with email delivery to Outlook’s servers (outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com). The error message I’m getting is: 550 5.7.1 Permanent error: Unfortunately, messages from [104.30.10.2] weren’t sent. Part of this network is on Microsoft’s block list (S3150). This error suggests that my network is on Microsoft’s block list, and they recommend contacting my Internet service provider for further assistance. They also provide a troubleshooting link: Troubleshooting. Interestingly, emails are still being delivered without issues to Gmail and other services, which makes it seem like the issue might be specific to Outlook’s filtering system. Has anyone else faced this problem or have any advice on how to get off the block list?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We’re always working to ensure strong deliverability and IP reputation of the IP 104.30.10.2 remains positive.

However, we have limited control over their response to our traffic, as they do not provide feedback on specific blocks. Outlook’s behaviour towards our services is something we cannot control. Using another email provider may be an option to consider if the issue persists or contact their support for more information.

I hope this helps.
