Elementor form file uploads not working after managed rules "upgrade"

Using the console , I can see the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php gets a 403 error.

Elementor form won’t submit when uploading file

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Turn on highlighted ruleset > fill out form > Get a nondescript “error” message shows at bottom of form upon submission.

Turn off highlighted ruleset > fill out form > goes through as normal.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

In my Cloudflare dashboard, CF gave the opportunity to “upgrade” or “update” the default ruleset. We did that a few days ago, and eventually realized that it was responsible for many of our clients not being able to upload files via our support forms.

There might be false positive by some rule in the new managed rules. If that the case you need investigate a blocked or challenged request, navigate to Security > Security Events section of your Cloudflare Dashboard. Look for the blocked rayid.
